Is It Good To Delegate?

This is a classic dilemma entrepreneurs, especially the ones I have seen in India, face. In a fear of losing control, entrepreneurs do not delegate responsibilities. This affects the growth of the business.


A good entrepreneur likes to do everything initially to learn the ropes. Once the learning is complete, an entrepreneur should draw up systems for the different functions within the business. The system should outline the process which should be followed in doing a particular activity accompanied by a reporting system as well. Once these systems are in place, building teams and fitting them into these systems is the role of the entrepreneur.

Building robust systems and putting in the right people can make the business efficient and enhance it’s growth trajectory.
